I heard a friend say the other day, “I can smell snow.” I immediately agreed with her. The combination of cooling temperatures here in the Rockies, flipping through the most recent issue of Freeskier Magazine and some early-season snow sprinkling the mountaintops (check out the Ski.com Facebook page for photos) have helped me conclude that indeed, the end is near.
