Summer in Breckenridge – Customize your Breckenridge summer vacation
Exciting events and a historic mining town with endless shopping, dining and nightlife makes Breckenridge “The Perfect Mountain Town.” In the summer of 1859, gold was discovered in the Blue River and a base camp later to be known as Breckenridge was established. While none of this base camp remains today, Breckenridge does contain more than 350 historic structures, making it the largest historic district in the state of Colorado. Take a Breckenridge summer vacation and discover an authentic mining town with a real Victorian feel.
