For more than 30 years, the hotel was run as a family business by Mirja and Paul Kronig-Aufdenblatten, and is now part of the Matterhorn Group. The Matterhorn Group is a company owned by Zermatt’s burgher community, and also operates the Grand Hotel Zermatterhof, the Riffelhaus 1853 and the 3100 Kulmhotel Gornergrat along with a number of restaurants in Zermatt. The new management is keen to ensure that our guests feel just as at home in the Continental as ever, and that they can even take advantage of new offers. These include discounted admission to the Alpine spa at the Zermatterhof, for example. The Hotel Continental is within easy reach of the lift stations in the morning, and in the evening, guests are conveniently located right at the village center – just minutes from the Brasserie Lusi at the Zermatterhof, the restaurant Alpine Gourmet Prato Borni or the Grand Hotel’s “saycheese!” Swiss cheese restaurant

Trip Cancellation Policy
A $100.00 per person change fee will be assessed per change on any deposited reservation.
Client will pay for any actual penalties assessed or rate changes incurred by the lodging, airline or other vendors.
Cancellations received more than 30 days prior to arrival will be assessed $100.00 per person plus any fees and/or penalties assessed by the Lodging establishment and other vendors.
If notice of cancellation is received 30 days or less prior to arrival, package is non-refundable. There is no refund for late arrival or early departure.

If purchasing airline tickets through us, they will be non-refundable once ticketed as mandated by the airlines.
